【悲報】2023年10月現在、日本ではTobii EyeTracker 5 は買えません

本気のゲーマーのみならず、重度障害児・者もゲーム用途で使っている Tobii EyeTracker 5。

2023年10月現在、日本では（まともに）購入できません。

理由は以下です。

本日、Tobiiのカスタマーサービスからメールがきました。

Tobii customer,

We want to inform you that Tobii is currently updating the design of the products Tobii Pro Spark, Tobii Eye Tracker 5 and 5L. The reason for that is that the products have shown to not comply with VCCI limits regarding EMC.

However, the Tobii devices should not disturb other devices since the tested EMC levels are not of such a level they exceed the requirements for what other electronic devices should resist. Nor does this affect the performance of your Tobii device.

ざっくり言うと、「EyeTracker 5 から出る電磁波が規制に準拠していないことがわかったので、現在がんばって再設計しています！」です。

電磁波対策をして再出荷するようです。

なお、日本における公式販売サイトは Amazon Japan ですが、ただいま定価の倍くらいの価格となっています。転売ヤーの商品でしょう。

さらには、変な健康器具が送られてくるような詐欺も横行しており、Amazonだからといって信用してはいけません。

ちょっと不可解なのは、数日前、EyeTracker 5 がディスカウント販売されていたことです。

日本への発送は行わないようでしたが、アメリカでは問題なく買えるようでした。

アメリカの規制はクリアしているのかな？
